Midtown
LeTip was established in May of 1991 making it one of, if
not the oldest, chapters in the Sacramento area. We have
many long-time members still with us like Home Rocket Real
Estate, our Residential Real Estate Broker, who joined Midtown
LeTip in 1992. Celebrating 10 years with Midtown LeTip this
year are Marti Meyer, Garden Graphics - Landscape Design, Gary
Ochoa - Hardwood Floor Contractor and Deb Rowland-Bird - Healing
Touch by Deb - Massage Therapist. We are indeed very lucky
to have such loyal, dedicated members in Midtown LeTip.
Many of our members have had their 5 minutes of fame on
local newscasts. You may have seen Craig Heiser from University
Automotive (voted Best in Sacramento) giving tips on auto
repair or Micah Gilmore from Energy King, heating and air
conditioning contractor, giving tips on how to make your
home more energy efficient.
Giving
back to the community is high on the list of priorities of
Midtown LeTip. In 2006 a Charitable Donations Committee was
formed. The committee
meets quarterly to decide what charity Midtown Le Tip will
contribute to. The first recipient was Robert's Family Development
Center which assists low to moderate income families through
education, childcare, career assistance, literacy programs,
computer training and more.
Le Tip is all about putting Dollars
In Your Pocket. The 2006-2007 year ended with 40 members
and total reported Q tips of $445,084. As of year end December
31, 2006, which is also the end of our third quarter, we
have welcomed 26 new members into our group, passed 1,743
tips and reported Q tips totaling $421,355.
Injecting a little fun into doing business
is a theme that permeates Midtown LeTip. Our meeting is called
to order by the boom box which typically blares oldies but
goodies before we settle into our weekly meeting. Many of
our members have adopted slogans which our members proudly
recite during commercials.
Midtown LeTip is a great place
to call home and a great place to do business. Come and see
for yourself, drop on by for a visit or better yet, refer
someone to us in one of our open categories ---- and don't
worry, we will take good care of them.
Please join us as
our guest for a free breakfast!
